HCDSB is seeking a dedicated Core French/Primary Team Member to engage with students across various grades. This position requires an Ontario Certified Teacher or education student with a Transitional Certificate. The role involves teaching French and fostering a Christ-centred environment while adhering to school guidelines and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Core French lessons
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop inclusive curricula
- Assess and monitor student progress effectively
- Create a supportive and nurturing classroom atmosphere
- Participate in school activities and community engagement
Requirements:
- Ontario Certified Teacher or equivalent qualification
- Strong communication and teaching skills
- Commitment to equity and inclusion principles
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learners
- Willingness to support students' socio-emotional needs
