Canada Cartage is looking for dedicated Owner Operators with a Class 1 license who prioritize safety and efficiency. This role involves a mix of local driving and highway routes throughout Alberta, requiring excellent communication and a commitment to customer service. Expect to engage in routine inspections and thorough cargo management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the truck while adhering to regulations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections for vehicle safety
- Manage all necessary cargo documentation
- Facilitate efficient loading and unloading processes
- Keep in touch with dispatch for status and instructions
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Class 1 License
- Five-year clean driving abstract required
- Minimum of 1 year highway driving experience
- Exceptional communication skills are essential
- Must be bondable and eligible in Canada
