Lammle's needs an Assistant Buyer with Western Wear product knowledge, fashion awareness, and strong supplier communication skills. Support merchandise decisions across categories.
This Assistant Buyer supports the buying team by understanding current fashion trends and Lammle's authentic western lifestyle customer. You will contribute to category strategy, supplier line reviews, assortment planning, and purchase order execution. The work includes monitoring deliveries, resolving quantity and quality concerns, supporting open-to-buy decisions, and maintaining product flow through stores and Lammle's E-Commerce channel. Strong organization, communication, initiative, and timely follow-through are central to the position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop product knowledge and understand category price positioning
- Attend supplier line reviews when requested
- Execute assortment plans through accurate style management
- Communicate with suppliers about late or short shipments
- Support open-to-buy decisions through in-season order management
Requirements:
- Three or more years of merchandise assistant experience
- Retail environment experience is an asset
- Ability to take direction and apply it promptly
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving and initiative
Use Western Wear insight, supplier communication, and purchasing accuracy to support Lammle's category strategies and merchandise execution.
