As a temporary delivery agent, you will be responsible for sorting and preparing mail at the depot, driving a Canada Post vehicle, and delivering items to customers on foot or by vehicle. This role requires a valid driver's license and physical stamina to handle packages regularly during your shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and prepare deliveries at the depot
- Drive a Canada Post postal vehicle
- Deliver mail and packages to customers
- Unload incoming mail for future deliveries
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely service
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 or Class G driver's license with three years safe driving
- Physically able to lift heavy mail items
- Availability for on-call work
- Proficient in English and/or French
- Experience in customer service is a plus
