This Pharmacy Student position supports future pharmacists through real-world training in community practice. You will learn about community pharmacist roles, over-the-counter products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling. The position also develops skills for managing a retail pharmacy and serving patients, employees, and healthcare workers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge every customer approaching the Pharmacy
- Meet privacy, confidentiality, and consent management requirements
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public
- Provide Pharmacy and Customer Service
- Support exceptional shopping experiences for Pharmacy customers
Requirements:
- Pharmacy student seeking community practice experience
- Interest in future community pharmacist roles
- Ability to enhance communication with patients and employees
- Interest in over-the-counter products and drug therapy
- Commitment to patient counseling skill development
