Coordinate food receiving, temperature checks, and delivery verification as a Logistics Associate with strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
This Logistics Associate manages deliveries, food and van logs, inventory, storage, and receiving procedures. The work requires following HSQA, HACCP, and WHMIS protocols while maintaining quality standards. The position also supports equipment repairs, safety audits, paperwork, and communication with service teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate delivery acceptance and review against service requirements
- Verify goods, temperatures, invoices, and receiving documentation
- Store products using FIFO, FEFO, and rotation protocols
- Maintain daily logs, paperwork, inventories, and temperature records
- Keep fridges, freezers, carts, and storage areas organized
Requirements:
- Secondary School Diploma and two years' relevant experience
- Required G License with clean driver's abstract
- Fluent written and spoken English communication skills
- Ability to frequently lift or move 50+ pounds
- Basic Food Safety, WHMIS, and HACCP training recommended
