Sault Area Hospital seeks a temporary full-time Cleaner for housekeeping duties throughout the hospital. The work includes terminal cleaning, patient-area cleaning, carpet care, and floor maintenance. Successful candidates use supplies and equipment safely while supporting clean, reassuring hospital spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash hospital walls, ceilings, lights, vents, and surfaces
- Vacuum carpets and clean upholstered furniture
- Mop, strip, refinish, and buff floors
- Complete terminal cleaning in specialized hospital rooms
- Clean patient areas and manage spills and waste
Requirements:
- Secondary school diploma or Project Search graduation
- Microsoft Office proficiency and computer literacy
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational communication
- Availability for all shifts, seven days weekly, and call-ins
