Lead garden supplies retail operations at GARDENWORKS, using inventory management and guest service skills across British Columbia locations. This full-time role offers 40 hours weekly.
As Department Manager for Garden Supplies, you will oversee daily operations while supporting efficient inventory flow and strong department presentation. The role suits an organized, hands-on retail leader with gardening passion, communication skills, and operational focus. You will help guests find tools and supplies for successful growing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily Garden Supplies department operations
- Lead receiving, pricing, preparation, and merchandising processes
- Keep tables, fixtures, and displays fully stocked
- Use POS systems for inventory and sales reporting
- Monitor inventory movement, trends, and replenishment needs
Requirements:
- Minimum three years of retail experience
- Garden supplies, hardware, or home improvement experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Forklift and Pesticide Dispensing certification, or training willingness
