Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Program and Project Management , and Agile methodologies , with a proven ability to drive complex initiatives within an enterprise environment. This role requires a proactive leader who can facilitate collaboration, ensure governance compliance, and deliver successful project outcomes across multiple stakeholders and vendor partners. Hybrid: 4 days onsite (Toronto and Montreal locations) Key Responsibilities Ensure all projects adhere to program and project management methodologies and governance standards. Apply deep knowledge of Program/Project Management , and Agile frameworks to manage complex initiatives. Perform full-spectrum project management functions, including financial planning and control , task decomposition , execution , and risk/issue management . Facilitate and support project planning sessions , ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams. Develop, monitor, and execute project plans , ensuring timely delivery of major milestones, approvals, sign-offs, and implementations. Manage scope, requirements, sign-offs, and change control processes within program parameters. Prioritize competing demands, mediate conflicts , and resolve issues across project teams. Design, create, and maintain project status and executive reports for oversight and governance committees. Manage stakeholder and vendor relationships , ensuring consistent communication and alignment on deliverables. Identify and negotiate project resource requirements and allocations. Coach, lead, and motivate team members to achieve project goals. Evaluate and report on project health and performance metrics. Execute comprehensive communication, implementation, and transition plans to support successful project outcomes. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred). 7+ years of progressive project management experience in enterprise environments. Demonstrated expertise in Agile / Scrum frameworks and traditional Waterfall methodologies. Strong understanding of financial technology processes. Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams , stakeholders, and vendor partnerships. Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills. PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification strongly preferred. Experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Project , or other project management tools.
