Support residents with daily living and nutrition as a casual Health Care Aide at Garneau Hall Seniors Community in Edmonton.
Advantage Assist is seeking Health Care Aides who value respectful service and older-adult engagement. In this casual position, you will assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, mealtimes, and call bells. You will also promote resident safety, protect confidentiality, and contribute to quality improvement while maintaining professional communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities
- Support mealtimes through serving, feeding, and nutrition assistance
- Respond promptly to resident call bells
- Promote safety and well-being for residents and team members
- Contribute to quality improvement and confidentiality standards
Requirements:
- Certificate from a recognized Health Care Aide program
- Active, unrestricted CLHA registration
- Current healthcare-provider CPR/BCLS certification
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills
- Critical thinking and positive professional attitude
