Date posted: January 5, 2026 Pay: From CA$19.00 per hour Job description: Job requirements Languages English Education Bachelor's degree Experience 3 years to less than 5 years Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling Work Location Information Rural area, Remote location, Work in employer's/client's home Personal Suitability Flexibility, Initiative, Excellent oral communication, Dependability, Effective interpersonal skills, Organized, Team player, Reliability, Judgement, Client focus Additional Skills Serve meal trays and feed patients, Make beds and maintain patients' rooms, Maintain inventory of supplies, Assist with the set-up and maintenance of traction equipment, cleaning or sterilizing equipment, maintaining and repairing equipment, and assembling, setting-up and operating job-related equipment Specific Skills Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse, Weigh, lift, turn and position patients, Supervise patients' exercise routines, Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher, Answer call signals, Accompany patients on outside recreational activities and perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, Administer first aid in emergency situations Work Setting Home care and visiting care agency, Public or community health centre, Rehabilitation centre and special health institution, Hospital or home for the aged, Nursing home/home for the aged, Hospital/medical facility or clinic Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental care Extended health care On-site parking Work Location: In person
