Job DescriptionLead Cost ControllerOverviewAtkinsRéalis is one of Canada's largest private sector nuclear engineering groups. We are proud to be the steward of Canadian CANDU nuclear technology.Your roleProject Setup & Performance Oversight:Ensure projects are established in alignment with Project Controls procedures and lead ongoing monitoring, controlling, and reporting of program and project performance.Cost Control Leadership:Lead a team of Cost Control professionals, provide guidance on issues impacting project objectives, and recommend cost-optimization strategies.Cost Reporting & Forecasting:Oversee timely and accurate monthly cost reporting, including tracking of commitments/POs, trending actuals, analyzing forecasts and variances, and preparing forward-looking cash flow forecasts.Issue Identification & Remediation:Prepare regular reports on cost status, deviations, and time accumulation, recommending corrective actions where needed.Change Management & ECOSYS Implementation:Support change management coordination and lead the implementation of ECOSYS for integrated cost control.Integrated Cost-Schedule Coordination:Interface with planners and other Project Controls staff to maintain an integrated cost-schedule control system and update estimate-to-complete based on deliverable progress.Stakeholder Communication & Additional Duties:Serve as the single point of contact for cost/finance inquiries, support government funding applications, contribute to client reporting, present findings to teams, and complete special assignments as required.About you:University degree (Bachelors)Minimum 10 years Cost Control experience - up to Lead level.Ability to manage multiple requestsAbility to manage Programs (multiple projects and initiatives within a program).Mandatory - Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access database and Visual Basic programming in bothReward & benefitsExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive - at every stage of your life and your career at AtkinsRéalis in Canada.Enjoy competitive compensation, employee recognition, and a brilliant range of flexible benefits you can tailor to your health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle needs.Make the most of diverse opportunities for training and professional development to grow your skills and expertise.And take advantage of our hybrid working culture and generous time-off policies to balance a fulfilling career with your personal life.Be rewarded.
