Job DescriptionOverviewAs part of AtkinsRéalis' Engineering Services group, the Airports team specializes in delivering a full range of planning and engineering services for airport and heliport infrastructure projects to local, national, and international clients. Projects range from small assignments, such as runway extension studies and apron expansion, to airport master plans and rehabilitation of taxiway and runway infrastructure.We are looking for an intermediate or senior civil design technologist to join our team in Edmonton.Your roleDesign road geometries using OpenRoads and/or Civil 3D software, and produce detailed engineering plan sheets;Perform quantity calculations and prepare project cost estimates;Ensure plans comply with current standards, codes, and regulations;Participate in construction site supervision for infrastructure projects.About youHolds a diploma as a technologist in civil engineering or equivalent;Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in road and/or airport infrastructure;Is proficient in 3D design software such as OpenRoads and/or Civil 3D, as well as AutoCAD.
