Interns will be trained and mentored in a supportive work environment.As an initial assignment you will train as a member of our operating staff to gain practical hands-on experience with operating and safety procedures. On-the-job experience will be supplemented with additional related formal training. You will begin in your selected area of employment. You will be required to work on your own without direct supervision following the initial training period.What you will do While working under the supervision of an experienced mentor you will perform various duties as required by your select area of employment following all Imperial Safety, Security, Health & Environmental (SSHE) policies.About you Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory. Depending on the position, commitment to obtaining a 4th Class or 3rd Class Power Engineering Certificate, Millwright Journeyman Ticket, or an Instrumentation/Electrical Ticket For the Environmental Technician position, post-secondary studies (completed or currently pursuing) in Environmental Science, Public Relations, Social Sciences, Indigenous Relations or related programs is an asset For the Business Services position, CAPPA Certificate or Business/Office Administration certificate.
