External Sales Representative – Infrastructure & Construction - ONTARIO

Avizia RH is recruiting an External Sales Representative on behalf of a North American manufacturer specializing in advanced structural reinforcement solutions used in major infrastructure projects.

This is a true hunter role for someone who enjoys building a territory, opening new markets and working in a highly technical sales environment.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for developing the Ontario market for a specialized construction product used in bridges, roads, concrete structures and large-scale civil infrastructure.

The territory already has existing volume, but the growth potential remains significant.

This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in long sales cycles, enjoys working with engineers and municipalities, and is motivated by uncapped earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow a defined territory through new business acquisition
  • Build relationships with engineering firms, municipalities, contractors and distributors
  • Drive product specifications through technical presentations and lunch & learns
  • Identify and develop distribution channels and rep partnerships
  • Manage a full sales cycle from prospecting to project completion
  • Collaborate closely with technical and engineering teams
  • Represent the product at industry events and client meetings

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in outside / technical sales
  • Background in construction, infrastructure, civil engineering, concrete, steel or industrial products
  • Proven hunter mentality and territory development experience
  • Comfortable selling into engineers, municipalities and public-sector clients
  • Experience with specification-driven sales is a strong asset
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel within Canada

Compensation & Perks

  • Base salary: $90,000–$110,000
  • Commission on all sales — no cap
  • Current territory supports 200k total compensation, with significant upside
  • Full benefits package

  • Flexibility on location within the province - the candidate has to be near a major airport
