Join our nursing team as a Casual Remote Area Nurse, working independently to provide primary care, emergency response, medication administration, and clinical assessments in a remote community. Onsite training and strong team support included.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Deliver medication administration and clinical assessments
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and trauma/injury cases
  • Provide mens and womens health services
  • Conduct broader primary health care and health promotion activities
  • Work independently with minimal supervision in a challenging remote environment

What You Will Need

  • Relevant nursing registration with AHPRA
  • Experience in rural and remote primary health essential
  • Remote Emergency Course (REC CRANA) or equivalent
  • Midwifery Emergency Course (MEC CRANA) or equivalent
  • Basic or Advanced Life Support certification
  • Immunisation Provider Certificate
  • COVID-19 vaccination records
  • Current National Criminal History Check (SAFENT)
  • Working with Children Card (NT Ochre Card)
  • Current Drivers Licence (4WD essential)
  • Stat Competency & Stryker Stretcher training
  • Comfortable working in rural/remote Indigenous communities with cultural sensitivity
