Job Opportunity: Quality Control Associate – Day Shift (Temp-to-Perm)

East Toronto – Morningside & Lawrence


Shift:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM


Pay:
$22/hour (depending on experience)

About the Role

The Quality Control Associate plays a vital role in ensuring product integrity throughout the production process. Reporting to the QA Supervisor, this hands-on role requires strong attention to detail and thrives on collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review job specifications and inspect finished goods accordingly
  • Complete QA documentation at various stages of production
  • Maintain and document inspection criteria, processes, and findings
  • Verify materials issued to production lines
  • Inspect samples and finished products for conformity
  • Temporarily stop the line and help resolve issues in partnership with Line Leads
  • Participate in co-packing, testing, and assembly line operations to ensure GMP compliance
  • Support investigations of non-conformances and quality discrepancies
  • Communicate quality concerns and inspection results effectively
  • Collaborate with multiple departments across production

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of QC experience in a production or co-pack facility (non-lab)
  • High School diploma or equivalent; formal QA/GMP training is an asset
  • Familiarity with GMP, WHMIS, and basic manufacturing processes
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Comfortable using computers and completing detailed paperwork
  • Detail-oriented with a sharp eye for inconsistencies and defects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Team-first attitude with integrity, curiosity, and a drive for continuous improvement

    Coronation Drive, Toronto, ON (accessible by TTC)
  • Schedule:
    Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Breaks:
    Two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch
  • PPE:
    Safety shoes required (other PPE provided as needed)
  • Team Size:
    QC team of 3; high collaboration with other departments
  • Eligibility:
    Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
