Job Description

We are seeking a caring, responsible, and dependable Child Caregiver / Nanny to provide attentive and nurturing care. The ideal candidate will support daily routines, encourage learning through age-appropriate activities, and maintain a safe, positive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive supervision and care at all times
  • Plan and engage in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
  • Support learning, development, and social skills
  • Prepare simple meals and snacks as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized play area
  • Assist with light child-related housekeeping (e.g., tidying toys, children's laundry if required)
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding routines, progress, and any concerns
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in child care, nannying, or a related role preferred
  • Educational background in Early Childhood Education or a related field is an asset
  • Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
  • Patient, reliable, and nurturing personality
  • Ability to follow family routines and guidelines
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Vulnerable sector check / background check required
