Schedule: 25–30 hours per week
Employment Type: Part-time
Compensation: $15–$17 CAD per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
We are seeking a caring, responsible, and dependable Child Caregiver / Nanny to provide attentive and nurturing care. The ideal candidate will support daily routines, encourage learning through age-appropriate activities, and maintain a safe, positive environment.
Responsibilities- Provide attentive supervision and care at all times
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
- Support learning, development, and social skills
- Prepare simple meals and snacks as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized play area
- Assist with light child-related housekeeping (e.g., tidying toys, children's laundry if required)
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding routines, progress, and any concerns
- Previous experience in child care, nannying, or a related role preferred
- Educational background in Early Childhood Education or a related field is an asset
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Patient, reliable, and nurturing personality
- Ability to follow family routines and guidelines
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Vulnerable sector check / background check required
- Supportive and respectful family environment
- Consistent part-time hours (25–30 hours weekly)
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
