Help us raise the expectation of what an agriculture company can be and grow your career with Nutrien.Discover more about potash at Nutrien This is an open posting for Co-op, Mechanical Engineering students beginning May 2026 for 16-month term.This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete.This position is not available for remote work.Applicants who express interest sooner will have the best chance of being matched with a position.Potential locations for Saskatchewan: Vanscoy, Lanigan, and RocanvilleTerm (16 months): Dates can be adjusted/extended to coincide with school terms:Spring May 4, August 27, 2027What you will do:Assist the Engineering department with various duties, including:Collaborate on meaningful projects.Provide technical support on various key initiatives.Analyze data to support continuous improvement, recovery improvement, and cost reduction.Work to optimize process and productivity in collaboration with maintenance, engineering and operations.May also be involved in design work and project management.What you will bring:Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 2 years of an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering program (or equivalent) at an accredited post-secondary institution AND returning to full-time studies after the work term.Demonstrated positive safety behaviour and safety leadership.Willingness to learn and gain knowledge and experience through training.Excellent interpersonal teamwork and communication skills.Motivation to set and achieve goals, take initiative, and nurture projects forward.Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.Preference will be given to candidates with mining or heavy industrial experience.3D CAD skills, especially in Inventor would be considered an asset but not required.Ready to make an impact with us?
