Job Description

Dexa Health Inc. is a wellness-focused clinic offering advanced body composition analysis using DEXA scan technology. Our mission is to help clients better understand their body fat, lean mass, and health metrics in a professional, modern setting.

Our Vancouver location is growing quickly and we are looking for a part-time DEXA Scan Technician to join our team. You'll receive full training and play a key role in creating a welcoming, health-focused experience for our clients.

As the clinic grows, there may be opportunities to expand this role into a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a GE Lunar DEXA scanner to conduct non-diagnostic body composition scans
  • Guide clients through the scanning process and ensure comfort and safety
  • Review scan results with clients using clear, accessible language (training provided)
  • Maintain a clean, professional clinic space
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks such as intake and scheduling

Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in fitness, health, or wellness
  • Comfortable working independently and interacting with clients
  • Customer service experience is an asset
  • Experience with medical devices or in a clinical setting is an asset
  • Degree or coursework in kinesiology or a health science field is an asset
  • Tech-savvy and organized
  • Must be based in Vancouver or able to commute to the Shaughnessy area regularly
  • (Relocation is not available for this role) (Commutable via Canada Line)
  • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
