Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing materials and techniques, as well as the ability to work safely at heights. Candidates with experience in construction, carpentry, or maintenance person work are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain various roofing systems using appropriate materials and techniques
  • Measure and cut roofing materials accurately according to project specifications
  • Utilize hand tools such as hammers, saws, and drills to perform roofing tasks efficiently
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure proper installation
  • Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely
  • Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs
  • Work at heights on ladders, scaffolding, or rooftops while adhering to safety protocols
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met

Skills

  • Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in roofing and construction
  • Strong background in construction or carpentry with hands-on experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
  • Knowledge of caulking, sealing, and waterproofing techniques
  • Physical strength for heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments
  • Maintenance Person experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various repair tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor conditions
