Brief Description

The position of Snow Plow Operator will see the candidate properly use and operate a snow plow truck. The position will require attention during both active winter storms and on days with no weather events. This can be a part or full time position depending on the candidates preference (see below).

Hours

  • Full Time position for those interested; can often include nights, weekends and holidays depending on weather events. When not snow plowing, the candidate will be asked to do general construction labour/carpentry/other depending on past experience/preference.
  • Part time position for candidate ONLY seeking the snow plow portion of the job.

Tasks

  • Using plow trucks, sanders, skid steers, backhoes and loader operations for snow clearing activities, before, during and after weather events.
  • Safely operate all company equipment
  • Ensure completion of snow removal to company and customer standards

Working Conditions

  • This position requires outdoor work
  • Wages will be based on experience

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum full G Driver's license required
  • Must have transportation to and from head office
  • Experience plowing is required
