Growth Marketing Manager
We're seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to support our growth marketing team in designing and executing high-impact demand generation strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the trajectory of one of Canada's fastest-growing tech companies.
Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn't like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That's why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want
Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada's Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail's Canada's Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada's Technology Fast 50, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500 lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we've come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we've just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers.
The Team:
The Demand Generation team develops, manages, and optimizes integrated campaigns that fuel both our self-serve and sales-assisted funnels. Working cross-functionally, we focus on increasing Jobber's visibility among home service businesses, generating awareness, and unlocking new areas of demand. By converting and monetizing existing interest while keeping Jobber top-of-mind, we help the business adapt to the evolving ways people search for and choose solutions online.
The Role:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Growth Marketing, the Growth Marketing Manager will drive customer acquisition and revenue growth by owning multi-channel campaigns, performance marketing strategies, and conversion optimization initiatives. This role will work across app-based marketing, search, programmatic video, audio and display, leveraging data-driven insights to guide strategy and channel optimization. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to gain a holistic view of the growth strategy, while enjoying the autonomy to manage your own projects, priorities, and outcomes.
With proven experience in performance marketing, you'll play a key role in helping Jobber connect with home service professionals—delivering the right message at the right moment to boost brand visibility and expand market share. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply both analytical rigor and creative thinking to accelerate customer acquisition and revenue growth, making a direct impact on Jobber's success. Your mission: master the art and science of demand generation, laying the foundation for a sustainable, low-CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) pipeline that feeds our long-term growth.
The Growth Marketing Manager will:
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing strategies—including app-based marketing, search, programmatic video, audio and display—to drive customer acquisition, meet growth targets, and support the specific goals of cross-functional stakeholders.
- Develop and manage creative pipeline including creative rotation plans, refresh and performance tracking, ensuring campaigns are running efficiently to maximize performance and impact.
- Analyze customer behaviour and weekly channel performance data to generate insights, develop testing hypotheses, and identify opportunities to scale, improve conversion rates, and accelerate revenue growth.
- Forecast and monitor key performance metrics with a strong emphasis on tracking budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness and return on investment.
- Oversee multiple concurrent campaigns and optimization efforts across platforms, ensuring all projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with broader business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with teams across Jobber—including Customer Analytics, Sales, Creative, Lifecycle, and Product Marketing—to deliver integrated, results-driven initiatives.
- Provide regular updates, share performance insights, and communicate strategic recommendations to key stakeholders and the wider marketing team to guide ongoing planning and execution.
To be successful, you should have:
- An entrepreneurial outlook, plenty of motivation, and a passion for helping small businesses grow.
- Experience in performance marketing across paid and organic channels, such as search, social, app marketing, and programmatic video.
- Direct experience managing campaigns in ad platforms such as Meta, Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, and The Trade Desk.
- A growth-mindset and experience nurturing a consistent testing process and desire to launch and test new initiatives.
- A proven track record of effectively managing multi-million dollar performance marketing budgets.
- An ability to extract and action meaningful insights from business intelligence and analytics platforms (e.g. AppTweak, Sensor Tower, MobileAction, SEMrush, Tableau, Data Studio, Google Analytics, Power BI, Sigma, or Looker).
- Experience partnering with Marketing Operations and Engineering teams to implement and maintain mobile tracking infrastructure, leveraging MMPs (e.g. AppsFlyer) to ensure SDK integrations, event tracking, and attribution are accurate, reliable, and optimized for campaign performance.
- A demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate proactively.
- Self-motivation with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks, work independently, and learn quickly in a dynamic AI-enabled work environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for using data to tell compelling stories to senior leadership.
It would be really great (but not a deal-breaker) if you had:
- Familiarity with B2B SaaS performance metrics and the dynamics of high-growth tech companies.
- An affinity for leveraging AI-led tools to enhance growth efficiency.
- BA in Business or Bachelor of Commerce degree.
