Your New Role

As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of electrical systems for a variety of building projects, including commercial, institutional, and residential developments. You'll be responsible for preparing designs for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems, while coordinating with mechanical, architectural, and structural teams to ensure integrated project delivery. You'll also assist with site inspections, support project documentation, liaise with clients and contractors, and ensure projects meet quality standards and timelines. This role offers opportunities to grow into a senior position through mentorship and hands-on experience.

What You'll Need:

  • 4–7 years in building systems design within the consulting engineering industry
  • P.Eng or EIT
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software
  • Solid understanding of the Ontario Building Code, CSA standards, and other applicable regulations
  • Experience with power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage priorities and work collaboratively across disciplines
  • Eagerness to learn and develop leadership skills
