Overview

We are seeking a professional Courtesy Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation services for our clients and staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to customer service. This role involves operating various types of vehicles, including commercial and passenger vehicles, to ensure timely and efficient transportation while maintaining safety standards. Prior experience in shuttle driving, delivery, or similar roles is highly desirable.

Duties

  • Safely operate a variety of vehicles such as buses, limousines, box trucks, flatbeds, or other commercial vehicles.
  • Transport clients or staff to designated locations efficiently and punctually.
  • Assist with loading and unloading cargo or passengers as needed, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal operation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding schedules, routes, and any issues encountered during transit.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operation.
  • Assist with moving or warehouse-related tasks when required, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts if certified.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for bus or heavy equipment).
  • Proven experience in commercial driving, shuttle driving, delivery driving, or related fields such as school bus driving or route driving.
  • Mechanical knowledge of vehicles including buses, trucks, limousines, or heavy equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and handle various types of commercial vehicles such as dump trucks or tanker trucks.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Experience with warehouse operations or heavy equipment operation is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy haul, freight transport, or heavy equipment operation.
