Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. The Delivery Driver will also assist in loading and unloading products, making this a physically demanding position that may involve heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and delivery confirmations.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
  • Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a delivery or driving role is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices is a plus.
  • Experience in customer service or warehouse environments is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers and team members.
  • Must be able to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
