Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Company: Towers Realty Group Ltd.

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician. This role is responsible for completing interior and exterior painting projects as well as performing light maintenance duties across our properties to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for residents and tenants.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare surfaces and apply paint, varnish, stain, or other finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and other surfaces
  • Perform minor drywall repairs and surface preparation before painting
  • Paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and other surfaces in vacant and occupied units, common areas, and building exteriors
  • Assist with unit turnovers, including patching, painting, and touch-ups
  • Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light fixtures, fixing locks, unclogging drains, etc.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure safe use of materials and equipment
  • Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and safe handling of paints and chemicals
  • Report any larger maintenance concerns to the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor

Be available for after-hours emergency maintenance calls as part of a scheduled on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years building maintenance experience required

· Possess the ability to work in teams and without supervision

· Excellent time management skills

· Highly organized and team oriented

· Strong attention to detail

· Above average written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent customer service skills
