Our highly valued Downtown Vancouver client is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their fun and growing team

Duties:

  • Perform full cycle of accounting duties for entities and subsidiaries
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and process payroll, WCB and EHT filings
  • Submit monthly/quarterly/annual GST filings and remit payment on a timely basis
  • Compile and analyze financial information for the preparation of year-end working papers
  • Work with external accountants for the preparation/filing of T2, T1134, T106 and NR4 returns
  • Forecast cash flows, monitor and maintain rational cash balances among the corporation and its subsidiaries
  • Work with financial institutions, shareholders and US property managers for corporate accounting matters

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of accounting experience and exposure to foreign exchange
  • Detail oriented and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
  • Experience with Yardi Voyageur is a bonus
