Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, construction, and have the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. This role is essential in ensuring the structural integrity and quality of building projects. Candidates should be comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and performing heavy lifting as needed. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in a dynamic environment dedicated to building excellence.

Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute framing plans accurately
  • Operate power tools such as saws, drills, and other equipment safely and efficiently
  • Use hand tools for precise carpentry work including cutting, measuring, and assembling components
  • Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to meet project demands
  • Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts when necessary for material movement
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
  • Maintain a clean work environment and properly store tools and materials

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or framing roles with a solid understanding of building processes
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and safety protocols
  • Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Valid license or certification preferred but not required; willingness to learn new skills is essential
