Performance Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute performance test strategies, plans, and scripts for web, API, and microservices-based applications
- Conduct load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability testing using tools such as: LoadRunner / Apache JMeter / NeoLoad / Gatling / k6 / Locust
- Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks related to application code, infrastructure, databases, and network
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and architecture teams to troubleshoot performance issues and recommend optimizations
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor application performance using APM and monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus)
- Create detailed performance reports and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Validate performance requirements and SLAs before production releases
- Continuously improve performance testing frameworks and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in performance testing and engineering
- Hands-on expertise with one or more performance testing tools:
- LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, Gatling, k6, Locust
- Solid understanding of:
- HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, WebSockets
- Performance metrics (response time, throughput, latency, concurrency, error rates)
- Experience testing web applications, APIs, and distributed systems
- Proficiency in scripting or programming (Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
