Terrace British Columbia, Canada Northern Health - BC Full time

We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Medical Device Reprocessing Technician to fill a PT position at the Ksyen Regional Hospital.

In accordance with established mission, vision, values and strategic priorities of Northern Health, this position performs a series of detailed technical duties related to the decontamination, sterilization, reassembly, function testing and distribution of medical and/or surgical supplies and instruments for various areas of the hospital; and performs related clerical duties and record keeping.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work:
Days, Evenings, 07:30 to 15:30, 08:00 to 16:00, 09:00 to 17:00, 11:00 to 19:00 (rotating)

Ksyen Regional Hospital
The new Ksyen Regional Hospital welcomed its first patients on November 24, 2024. More than double the size of the previous hospital, the facility features 82 beds, private rooms, and is a centre for trauma services, orthopedic surgeries, pathology, radiology, clinical support, and pharmacy services. The hospital is also a training site for medical students in the Northern Medical Program.

Terrace

The main industries in Terrace are communications, transportation and natural resources. The population is approximately 12,700.
