Position: Construction Project Administrator

Location: Kamloops, BC

RKM Services Ltd. brings experience, expertise, and unique equipment to focus on serving the Pulp and Paper, Cement, Mining and other industries since 2008.

We are seeking a highly organized Industrial Construction Project Administrator to support the delivery of our large-scale industrial projects. This role includes a strong on-site presence, working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents and subcontractors to ensure accurate documentation, coordination and project control.

  • Provide administrative support to Project Managers/Supervisors and site teams
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain project documentation (submittals, change orders)
  • Track project schedules, meeting minutes, and action items
  • Assist with purchase orders and subcontractor documentation
  • Cost Tracking, invoicing, & daily LEM's
  • The first year of employment requires full-time work at a mine site (1 hour from Kamloops)
  • Some travel (company paid) is required (up to 3 weeks at a time)
  • Some weekend work required based on client requirements

  • Regular presence on active industrial construction sites

  • Direct interaction with site supervisors, trades, subcontractors
  • Support day-to-day site operations and urgent documentation needs

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, & Word

  • Previous experience in construction administration or a similar role
  • Strong Organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Not afraid of asking tough questions
  • Union experience an asset but not necessary

  • $52,000 - $57,000/year

  • Overtime eligibility when working at a job site (expected in 2026)
  • Travel allowances and PPE
  • In-person training in our Langley office (paid travel and expenses)
