Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team in Vaughan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathe machines, performing turning operations on various materials, and ensuring precision and efficiency in production.

Responsibilities:

    • Set up and operate CNC lathe machines
    • Perform turning operations, including facing, turning, boring, and threading
    • Work with various materials, such as steel, aluminum, and copper
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and CAD files
    • Conduct precision measurements and inspections
    • Troubleshoot issues and optimize machining processes
    • Collaborate with colleagues to meet production goals and deadlines
    • Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist
    • Experience with CNC lathe machines, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting
    • Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and safety protocols
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in machining or a related field is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
