CANEIL is seeking experienced and motivated Wind Technicians to support our growing portfolio of wind energy projects across multiple regions. We are looking for individuals with strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively within dynamic field environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines, including tower, nacelle, and hub components.
  • Lead and participate in safety meetings; ensure all work aligns with safety and environmental requirements.
  • Execute retrofits, installations, and component modifications following work instructions and OEM guidelines.
  • Conduct torquing, tensioning, and other mechanical tasks as part of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Manage tooling inventory and contribute to efficient field operations.
  • Maintain detailed records, including daily tech trackers, reports, and related documentation.

Requirements

  • GWO certification is an asset. Please include your WINDA ID in your resume if applicable.
  • Prior experience in the wind energy industry (construction, maintenance, or service).
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work in the U.S. Valid Canadian passport and citizenship are required for visa eligibility.
  • Strong commitment to safety and ability to work confidently at heights and in demanding physical conditions.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in English.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Typical schedule: Monday to Saturday, 10-hour shifts, with occasional Sunday work as required. Based on project needs.
  • Competitive compensation, overtime opportunities, and ongoing training and development provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

  • Canadian Passport (required)

  • GWO BST and/or ART (preferred)
