The Job: Job Planner – Processing Department

As a Job Planner, you'll play a critical role in ensuring every project is released to the shop floor with complete, accurate, and aligned documentation. You'll coordinate information between departments, monitor progress, and support efficiency throughout each stage of production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage detailed job documentation packages using ERP systems (Flow/Epicor) and digital file management tools.
  • Review project scopes and compare with quoted details to ensure alignment and completeness before release.
  • Verify each job is planned and released within budget, addressing discrepancies proactively.
  • Review and confirm drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and documentation for accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, and Production to ensure materials and designs meet project needs.
  • Monitor job progress, timelines, and deliverables to keep projects on track.
  • Communicate updates, risks, and changes clearly across departments.
  • Support outsourced or special-order components, ensuring timely procurement and documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning and coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in job planning, production coordination, or manufacturing process management.
  • Experience using ERP systems (Epicor preferred).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, BOMs, and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital documentation systems.
  • Demonstrated alignment with MC3's values of trust, teamwork, and performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
