Boeing Vancouver is seeking a Senior Solution Consultant, working out of the Richmond BC office.

The Engagement Management Solution Consultant team within the Digital Services (DS) organization is looking for new colleagues to solve customer problems with DS software solutions in the Maintenance & Engineering, Airplane Integration and Leasing domains.

This position is responsible for supporting our sales, marketing and product management teams by providing strong value propositions to address our customer's challenges.

Key to this position is understanding aviation customer needs, pain points, and business processes and translating these into business solutions. We do expect candidates that are highly motivated with the desire to excel and become experts in DS products and the value they bring to our customers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Delivers technical support to sales engagements by focusing on product value propositions for our Maintenance & Engineering, Airplane Integration and Leasing
  • Analyzes customer business processes, identifies customer pain points and proposes recommended improvements through our product offerings
  • Presents and demonstrates technical system abilities and benefits of DS products
  • Identifies tangible & nontangible benefits and complies this information into key performance indicators that drives a strong business case for our customers
  • Assists in the identification of future sales opportunities (leads)
  • Identifies and communicates product enhancement opportunities to product owners
  • Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on projects and at industry conferences
  • Global travel to airline customers (~25%)
  • Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years experience working in commercial aerospace, such as commercial airlines, freight operators, MROs, freighter conversion operations, and/or aircraft lessor business environments, including leading analytical market-facing projects.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationally.
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada.
  • Individuals must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods.
  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 8+ years experience working with commercial airline operations within the maintenance and engineering domain or Airplane Integration domain
  • Knowledge of at least one of the DS products such as: Airplane Health Management (AHM), Toolbox, Mobile Logbook, Engine Fleet Planning and Costing (EFPAC), RouteSync, Onboard Performance Tool, Flight Deck Advisor, or Fuel Analytics
  • Experience in a technical presales (sales engineering) role is valuable
  • SPIN trained
  • Excellent communication skills (verbally and written) in proposal preparation and presentations
  • Creative problem-solving capability, strong analytical and listening skills
  • Business process analysis
  • A genuine interest in meeting and helping our customers
  • Ability to interact with different cultures and at different levels within an organization with ease
  • A degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering, Administration, Science & Technology or equivalent

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.

Salary pay range

Level 4 $98, $175,000.00 CAD

Level 5 $121, $215,000.00 CAD
