Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, contributing to the upkeep of commercial spaces, with a focus on efficiency and quality.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial or institutional settings
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for deep cleaning or maintenance tasks as needed
  • Operate custodial equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and pressure washers to ensure thorough cleaning
  • Conduct facilities maintenance tasks to address minor repairs or issues that impact cleanliness or safety
  • Manage heavy lifting of supplies or equipment safely and efficiently
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain high standards of hygiene
  • Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to supervisors
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work, with knowledge of facilities maintenance preferred
  • Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment
  • Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively during cleaning operations
  • Attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
  • Customer service orientation with a professional attitude toward clients and colleagues

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 5 per week
