Ski & Snowboard Instructors

Our instructors are the heart of the Snow School, teaching guests of all ages and helping them discover the joy of skiing and snowboarding.

Requirements:

• Minimum age: 15 years
• Certification: CSIA Level 1 (ski) or CASI Level 1 (snowboard)
• Certification courses are offered early season (details below)

Starting Pay: $16.88/hour (for Level 1 instructors)

Instructors are paid for teaching time. Expect up to 4.5 hours/day on weekends and 2+ hours/day during school visits on weekdays, with potential for more hours depending on availability.

Commitment Options & Perks

We offer flexible commitment options based on your schedule:

Part-Time – One Day per Week

• Weekend: Receive a weekend staff season pass (Friday–Sunday)
• Weekday: Receive a weekday staff season pass
• Bonus: Teach extra days (outside your pass type) and receive lift tickets for those days

Part-Time – Two Days per Week

• Receive a full staff season pass
• Receive 2 complimentary day lift tickets for friends or family

Full-Time – Five or More Days per Week

• Receive a full staff season pass
• Earn an extra $1/hour
• Receive 3 complimentary day lift tickets for friends or family
• Receive a Discover Ski/Snowboard Package to gift to a friend
• Days off can be arranged, provided shifts are covered.

Assistant Instructor Program (Ages 14+)

If you're 14 and eager to get started, join our Assistant Instructor Program — a great first step toward full certification

Requirements:

• Must commit to weekends only
• Must attend our Intro to Ski/Snowboard Teaching Course (January 9–11)

Commitment Options:

• One Day per Weekend: Weekend season pass (Friday–Sunday)
• Two Days per Weekend: Full season pass + 2 complimentary lift tickets

Get Certified This Season

• CSIA Ski Level 1 Course: January 9–11 (register via the CSIA website

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.88 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
