About Our Team
The Agoda Japan Hotel Acquisition Team is dedicated to expanding Agoda's accommodation offerings across Japan. Our mission is to identify, approach, and onboard new hotel partners, ensuring they are successfully launched and visible on Agoda's platform. We believe that growing our network of quality hotels is essential to delivering the best possible experience for our customers.

As the first point of contact for potential partners, we act as trusted advisors—sharing market insights, best practices, and innovative solutions to help hotels maximize their success on Agoda. Leveraging Agoda's industry-leading technology and global expertise, we collaborate closely with both local and international teams to drive growth and create value for our partners, our customers, and Agoda.

The Opportunity:
As an
Account Manager,
your key objective is to grow Agoda's supply network.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Identify and research potential new hotel partners in target regions across Japan.
  • Proactively reach out to hotel owners and decision-makers via calls, emails, and in-person visits.
  • Present Agoda's value proposition and negotiate commercial terms to onboard new hotels.
  • Guide new partners through the onboarding process, ensuring their properties are set up for success and go live on Agoda's platform.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Provide market insights and best practices to help partners maximize their performance on Agoda.
  • Track and report on acquisition activities, pipeline, and results using CRM tools.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Bilingual in Japanese and English: Able to conduct business communication effectively in both languages.
  • Experience in business development, sales.
  • Analytical and proven track record in using data to drive achievements and make decisions
  • Autonomous and result driven
  • Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment and is open to change in responsibilities, workflows, as needed by the business

  • Experience in the hotel or OTA sector
  • Passionate about travel
