Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part Time Addiction Worker to join our team. This position is perfect for a student looking for part time evening work. Hours are 3:30pm - 8:00Pm Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.

This role plays an essential part in providing support and guidance to individuals living with addiction. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a background in addiction's or case management, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to individuals recovering from addiction through group counselling and case management.
  • Provide support to Addiction Counsellor's and lead facilitators.
  • Work as a team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Facilitate group sessions and workshops, utilizing strong presentation skills to engage participants.
  • Collaborate with other professionals in the field to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Conduct assessments and analyze client needs, employing effective time management and organizational skills.

Experience

  • Proven experience in group facilitation and case management is preferred.
  • Lived Experience considered an asset.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on team communication and client documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for administrative tasks.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
