Highview Residences is a small, home-like dementia care community made up of two bungalow-style homes (26 and 28 residents). We Promise to meet each resident in Each Moment – By Design – With Love. We are looking for a positive, flexible, resident-focused RN or RPN to join our night team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Care Coordinator, the Night Nurse is the on-site clinical leader, ensuring resident safety, meaningful care, and accurate documentation throughout the 11–7 shift.

What You Bring

  • Current RN or RPN registration with the CNO (in good standing)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in dementia care, geriatrics, or similar settings
  • Strong assessment, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to adapt, problem-solve, and support a team during overnight hours
  • Commitment to person-centered, compassionate dementia care

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality resident care, including assessments, dressing changes, vitals, and monitoring
  • Safely administer medications and process physician orders
  • Maintain accurate documentation in MED-ecare (eMAR, eNotes, assessments, care plans)
  • Support and guide overnight staff as the Registered Leader
  • Communicate with families, pharmacy, and day staff as needed
  • Ensure resident safety at all times, including awareness of wandering risks
  • Participate in care plan development and updates

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
