The Role
We're looking for a Data Engineer to take ownership of our data infrastructure and power our GenAI-driven solutions that make decarbonization seamless.

As our first data engineer, you'll define how data powers our products and insights.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines for collection, cleaning, and transformation.

  • Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and customer success teams to design and deliver data solutions that enable advanced analytics, modeling, and insights.

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across multiple systems.

  • Support analytics, reporting, and decision-making through clean, well-structured datasets.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong programming skills in Python.

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying, transforming, and analyzing large datasets.

  • Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/data pipelines (e.g., Airflow, dbt).

  • Proven experience working with cloud data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Snowflake.

  • Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and best practices for scalable, maintainable architectures.

  • Bonus: Experience with GenAI or LLM-related data workflows, including vector databases, embeddings, or prompt pipelines.

  • Work Authorization: Authorization to work in Canada is required.

  • Location: This is a hybrid role requiring 2–3 days of in-person collaboration per week.
