Richelieu Hardware is looking for a
BRANCH MANAGER
for the
SURREY, B.C.
More specifically, the main responsibilities of the position are to
:

  • Coordinating promotional activities and achieving sales targets for the facility.
  • Implementing and maintaining high standards of customer service for both counter sales and phone sales.
  • Leading, motivating and mobilizing a staff of 20 plus people to achieve desired objectives
  • Ensuring the showroom is professionally managed, including overseeing product displays, implementing point-of-sale programs, and initiating customer events and promotions.
  • Conducting regular reviews of inventory levels, managing stock turnover, and addressing product obsolescence.
  • Optimizing logistics processes from receiving through to order fulfillment to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Managing and optimizing freight programs to support operational efficiency.
  • Supervising light manufacturing activities and ensuring production meets quality and timeline standards.
  • Developing comprehensive business plans, monitoring sales performance, controlling expenses, and maximizing gross profit and earnings for the branch.
  • Serving as the primary liaison between various branch locations, direct sales teams, and Head Office to fulfill operational requirements and address organizational needs.
  • Overseeing and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards across all aspects of the location.

Requirements :

  • College Diploma or equivalent combined with relevant experience;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Excellent English communication (written and spoken);
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Good computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook;
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented with good presentation skills;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Organized, autonomous, resourceful, hardworking;
  • Proactive, takes initiate and is creative
  • Results oriented.
