Job Title: Mechanical Draftsperson (Contract)

Monday–Friday, on-site
Contract Length:
3–6 months, with potential extension
Overview:
Our client, an innovative company in the battery energy storage sector, is seeking a Mechanical Draftsperson to support ongoing design, prototyping, and manufacturing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on design work within a fast-moving, engineering-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update detailed mechanical drawings and models
- Support engineering and manufacturing teams with design modifications and documentation
- Assist with prototype development and regulatory documentation as needed
- Ensure all drafting output meets quality and compliance standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support product development cycles
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of drafting or mechanical design experience (all experience levels considered)
- Proficiency with
AutoCAD Inventor
and
SolidWorks - Drafting experience within manufacturing, electrical, automotive, or prototype environments is strongly preferred
- Experience in battery storage or related energy systems is an asset
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements is an advantage
