Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately
  • Manage inventory controls
  • Operate a forklift following OHS safety guidelines
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently while ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage
  • Assist in stocking shelves, organizing inventory storage areas, and maintaining a clean work environment
  • Support shipping & receiving activities
  • Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for all team members

Skills

  • Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management, or related roles
  • Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely
  • Strong understanding of inventory control procedures including stock counting and order picking & packing
  • Experience with shipping & receiving processes, order fulfillment, and materials handling techniques
  • Knowledge of OHS safety standards related to warehouse operations
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management tasks
  • Prior experience in flooring industry environments is a plus

This Warehouse Worker position is integral to maintaining efficient distribution operations while prioritizing safety and accuracy. We seek motivated individuals eager to contribute their skills in a collaborative team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
