Ki's Garage is an established barbershop with a strong local presence — and we're expanding We're converting half our shop into a dedicated tattoo studio and are now offering limited chair rentals at an extremely affordable, all-inclusive monthly rate.

What We Offer:

• Affordable, all-inclusive rent (includes hydro, water, parking) - $850 a month rental fee plus applicable taxes. Minimum one year lease term.

We are seeking a talented and passionate Tattoo Artist to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic background, exceptional customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation. As a Tattoo Artist, you will work closely with clients to understand their vision and create custom designs that reflect their individual style.

Duties

• Consult with clients to discuss design ideas and preferences, ensuring a clear understanding of their vision.
• Create custom tattoo designs based on client input and artistic expertise.
• Execute high-quality tattoos while adhering to strict sanitation protocols and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.
• Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Upsell additional services or products, such as aftercare supplies, to enhance the client experience.
• Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client records as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in tattoo artistry.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and health regulations related to tattooing.
• Strong artistic skills with attention to detail and creativity in design execution.
• Experience in retail sales or upselling services/products is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
