Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in food preparation and meal service, ensuring that our guests receive high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours
  • Participate in meal preparation for special events or catering as needed
  • Follow proper food handling techniques to minimize waste and ensure quality

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality
  • Passion for the food industry and commitment to high-quality service
  • Experience with serving, meal preparation, and general food service is a plus
