Job Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and production workflows. This role focuses on transitioning designs to production, improving efficiency, quality, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, cost-effective manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes and work instructions
- Support new product introduction (NPI), including DFM and DFA activities
- Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and production teams
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to quality, yield, and throughput
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation (BOMs, routings, SOPs, PFMEAs)
- Support tooling, fixtures, and equipment selection, validation, and commissioning
- Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma)
- Support engineering change requests (ECRs/ECOs) and root cause analysis
- Assist with supplier qualification and manufacturing audits
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering (or related)
- 2–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience (entry-level candidates considered)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly methods
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience with root cause analysis and process improvement tools
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience in regulated industries (medical devices, aerospace, automotive)
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
- Familiarity with CAD and ERP/MRP systems

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000
