Position: Healthcare Security Guard
Site: Various Healthcare sites in Kingston, Ontario
Hours: 8-12 hours, continental shifts/rotating days & nights
Payrate: $18.35/hour - $22.61/hour

Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Posting Date: November 11th, 2025

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain a professional, visible security presenceGreet, assist, and direct the publicProtect clients, staff, buildings, and assetsWork independently and as part of a teamConduct interior/exterior patrols and respond to emergenciesDocument and report incidents, investigate as requiredPerform patient watches and enforce hospital policies/by-lawsManage access control, keys, and parking enforcementSupport monthly safety inspections and other assigned dutiesAdditional duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Valid Ontario Security Guard LicenseValid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit TestProof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, Pertussis, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)Steps to get your immunization records:

Immunization Form:KHSC Immunization FormsAbility to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)Minimum 6 months healthcare security experience preferredEnglish proficiency (oral & written) required6+ months of customer service experience is considered an assetAuthorized to legally work in Canada

Education Requirements (All)

College/University Education



Certification Requirements (All)

First Aid, CPR Level C

Valid Ontario Security License
