We are seeking a friendly and attentive server to join our already amazing team We are a new restaurant located on the Queensway in Etobicoke. We are excited to bring our vision a modern Italian cucina to this part of the city, our food is simple and comforting, with a modern twist and a focus on local high quality ingredients. We curate our wine list with a mind to affordability while maintaining distinctiveness and interest. Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.
  • Make Recommendations to our guests, including food and wine pairings
  • Take orders from guests and serve drinks in a timely manner.
  • Operate POS system in an accurate and responsible manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining room, including glassware, utensils, tables, floors and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling standards at all times.
  • Manage cash register operations, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously.
  • Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
  • Adhere to all food industry regulations and safety protocols.
  • Handle serving responsibilities responsibly, ensuring guest satisfaction while maintaining a safe environment.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending and serving roles.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Prior experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is a plus but not required. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality to develop their skills in a lively environment dedicated to guest satisfaction.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
